Asian mall in Burnaby near Metrotown. Usually only come here to get groceries. Veggies are generally fresh and very cheap. If I can give the parking lot a rating, I'd give it 0 stars. The parking is a one way that goes in a circle. If someone is trying to park, there's no way to go around it. Be prepared to spend a lot of time in the parking because people suck at parking here.

Looks nice, though like some places nowadays, not too inviting for people that are not Asian. Chinese I guess but don't quote me. If you don't what something does you probably don't buy it anyways :)

If you are into it and or speak Asian, you'll probably like it

As for the stores, it's not a huge mall. Very Chinese focused on terms of store types and advertisements. In mostly in the mall for food at night, so many of the stores are closed. Pretty good produce on the ground floor.

Prices are interesting. Parking is very bad (you'd better know how to drive your big car if you don't wanna scratch it; or drive a tiny car). Once you get used to it, it appears less ugly than it is. Actually no, it doesn't. It's really ugly, old, and dirty. Not that it's not cleaned, but that it's designed such that it'll always look dirty no matter how much you clean it. I'd recommend giving the place a makeover, but then the prices would likely rise... The food court in there is famous. Well, some things are quite good. Some others are incredibly bad. I do wonder how some are not going bankrupt. For instance I tried a place where the lady squeezes fresh oranges to make orange juice, which is nice, but then she adds some disgusting sweet syrupy water and ice, and just spoils the whole drink. Yummy... yuck.

This place has a pretty good Asian-focused food court. Be warned, most, if not all of the food options are cash only. Good place for XLBs near the bank of the food court on the left side. Apparently another XLB place has opened, but I haven't had time to check it out. English is the second tier language on most of the menus, so if you can't read Chinese the menus can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. Also, people at this mall are the worst about composting!

This mall has a very large food court with a large variety of regional Chinese foods. I usually go with a friend who knows the food choices and speaks mandarin. If you only speak English you might feel a little out of place. Bring cash to pay. During busy times, it may take a few minutes to find a seat. Look for a seat while you are waiting for food. Food is good and relatively inexpensive, but I wouldn’t call it gourmet.
