An amazing place for the young and old. A must do for the families at Christmas time and even Halloween. The staff are always super helpful and you will learn a lot about history. My wife signed me up for beginner's blacksmithing at the forge here, and it was an unforgettable educational experience. I have a healthy respect for that particular trade, especially the labor involved in making simple things like nails, and hooks.

Great little gem in the heart of the city! Love coming here with the family during special holidays like Canada Day, Christmas Lights Festival and Halloween Haunted Village. The kids get to learn a little bit about the past and understand how things were very different 40-90 years ago from what it is now each time we go.

Was a family tradition growing up to come here every Christmas and now I take my husband. I love the live carolers and the costumed actors. They really set the mood. The little cafe is also a great place to stop for a hot drink if you come in the winter time.

Very friendly staff. We went during the Halloween season where staff dressed the part and they were giving away candy at different "stations," which made it more interesting. I wish though that you could go into the exhibit train that they had, it was closed at the time. They have an indoor merry-go-round! Worth a visit, especially if you have kids.

Heritage Christmas is a festive and a must do for families during the holidays. Turn of the century village with period buildings is now decorated for Christmas. It's a great place to go with your loved ones for the holidays. Gate admission is free and lots of free parking. Vintage carousel is under $3/ride. There's a restaurant with hot drinks and light snack to warm you up from the cold and lots of small shops and buildings to explore. Lots of fun and full of history.

Make sure to get a ticket for the 100+year old carousel too!
