    Got a call last week that transportation of my unit was delayed that I could not access my unit until few days later than 6/19 I requested. Called tonight to find out if I can assess it soon when found out that PODS did not ship my container to agreed upon location but to Everett 53 miles north. I told Louis I did not request to have it in Everett; he told me that there is not a PODS storage in DesMoines that I will be charged over $200 to have it moved to it DesMoines.

    Just spoken with MOST rude and offensive senior PODS agent, named Louis, on the phone. When I placed this order to move and transfer my belongings, chosen nearest PODS storage location to where I will be relocating and verified with an agent on the phone to be DesMoines, WA. 98198.

    Service sounds great but with the location having only very limited times to access your pod as they close at 4 every day and not open on Sunday. Also a lot of problems getting it to be delivered. Don't use if you live in townhouse complex as they need lots of room to deliver.

    Please take responsibility and not only fix this for me, but for all your other customers who will have similar experiences unless you actually repair a. your equipment, and b. your protocol.

    He would talk over me when I questioned why the agent placed my order stated that the unit will be shipped PODS storage in DesMoines if the one did not exists. There was NO WAY to carry conversation with this rude most offensive agent who kept talking over me. I had to tell him to shut up and listen to YOUR CUSTOMER that PODS has an obligation to ship my unit to where ordered to be shipped without occurring more charges.

    My process of ordering this move through PODS was actually obscured by multiples counts of theft by PODS, or as you guys like to pass it off as “oops our computer system does things without any human supervision". You guys were charging me exorbitant amounts I never agreed to in the middle of the night, then sending me emails saying “thank you for your payment”. I’m talking $7000.00+, $3000.00+ charges. Your reasoning was: “we apologize, but our billing department and our customer service department are separate.” I can assure you that within your pages and pages of erroneous changes, I purchased insurance and would not have proceeded without insurance. I was very clear that I needed insurance with PODS. If you guys had a working booking system, all parties would be able to see this clearly, however it was a very long, drawn out process full of miscommunication on your part that caused me a great deal of stress and I have so many false ‘invoices’ I don’t even know which one is valid. I had to cancel my credit card because of this. Nothing was done correctly by PODS in the booking process - and no one told me to expect an insurance certificate by mail - how convenient. Talk to Robinson Coker, talk to Karim Yann Chihani.

    There was no problem with bug infestation while the items were stored in your Edmonton warehouse, the problem was during the move, while the truck was on the highway, because the PODS unit was not secure. PODS should know that for cross-provincial moves, the PODS need to be covered (!?) and if your units are not adequate, a tarp should have been used. It was not about ‘how we loaded the PODS unit’ or ‘how we packed the items’, it was about your PODS container providing no protection during the move - this is your one and only job. Therefore, you have 100% legal responsibility, because you are breaching multiple terms of the contract, even within the copy of your own website on several counts. You are not providing what you advertise; you are not fulfilling your terms.

    Hang up on him since no way I will pay for their mistake. Called back and got Scott who saw an error on PODS action. He tried to correct the error but he is not position to do so because PODS computer kept telling him to charge me over $170. So he said need to transfer me to senior agent and he did which got right back to the rude most offensive Louis.

    PODS made our move a lot easier. We had heard horror stories of damage goods from various services so we wanted to move our belongings ourselves but we didn't want to drive a big truck across provinces on the winter roads. Every representative we dealt with was courteous and communicated everything we needed to know. There was no damage to our belongings upon arrival and the pod arrived on time. I am extremely happy with PODS and highly recommend their services.

    Paid good money just to have someone come and tell me ALL the reasons (excuses) that they wouldn't do the job even though I had multiple options to offer trying to accommodate. Never seen anyone try so hard not to work. Then had to wait two weeks to receive my refund back. Will never call them again. The CSR was pleasant enough but the local office was impossible to reach.

    Read this type of thing happens with PODS customers but thought maybe that is a rare occasion that won't happen to me. WRONG! It is happening to me.
