  I ordered for delivery they said it will take about 40 mins. They showed up after 1 hour 45 minutes. I followed up two times in between and their reaction was just hilarious. They repeated the driver will be there in a minute. The one who I spoke told me the given estimated time for delivery was wrong from the beginning, so I should not complaint about it. There was no apology what so ever. She was showing me her attitude, and at the end, she yelled at me and suggested me to talk to the owner. I said there is no need and canceled the order. After reading others review, I see why she suggested me to talk to the owner because the owner would yell at me too and support her. The reason I know the when the delivery came is because they absolutely had no communication with the driver, and the driver showed up after I talked to her. THEY HAVE LOST SO MUCH TODAY: sales, customers, food cost, gas cost, labour cost, opportunity cost, reputation, google rate and some other review rates, potential customers, productivity, efficiency, etc...lol

  My friends and I ordered from here and they messed up our order and then we tried to call to get it corrected they made a huge deal about it and then after they finally agreed to correct it they came back and brought us the wrong thing yet again and then I called back and the owner told me to never call back again,never going to order from here I suggest you don't either. Poor customer service expensive food and they don't even get it right and then when you ask them to correct it they yell at you and tell you to never call back again.

  Awesome roast lamb and very pleasant enviroment. Typically not very busy - easy to get seating. Service varies but usually top-notch. Overall, Socrates is a great place for greek food if you're in North Burnaby.

  My family and i were hesitant about eating here because of the relatively lower rating. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The lamb was very tender, chicken souvlaki was tasty, and the baked lasagne is one of the best I've tasted. The only thing i would critique about the food is that it could use a bit lighter hand with the salt. Service was very good and they were happy to accommodate our request to substitute the Greek salad for the regular salad and garlic bread instead of pita bread. I would come back here again.
