  My wife used all her insurance (1,500 dollars) for one cavity and paid about 300 dollars by herself. I am not entirely sure if this is normal in B.C. but it’s outrageous comparing to Toronto.

  My two cents: don’t come here if you don’t have full insurance coverage, you will end up paying hundreds out of your own pocket.

  Every time I go in for a cleaning, it’s always quick and simple. The dentists are very nice and ask about your day, you always get a little gift bag at the end of your checkup including : floss, a toothbrush and toothpaste!

  The worst dental clinic. Please avoid going there, save yourself the time and money. Read the reviews and save yourself from the trouble. Review from Kevin is very accurate, they will charge you for things that don't need to be done. Also always rushed they don't ever spend proper time and the hour for the job that needs to be done. They lack communication skills. They proceed to do something without explaining or communicating it with the patient. For people who have external insurance please be careful this clinic will abuse the use of that, they will bill the insurance company without discussing the price with the patient. AVOID THIS DENTAL CLINIC.

  Every time we set foot in there, they will try to rebook appointments and suggest service items we may or may not need to use up our insurance balance as fast as possible.

  I have both my Invisalign as well as my regular dental cleanings here at Middlegate Dental. The staff at this place are awesome. They are very accommodating with respect to scheduling appointments, and always make me feel comfortable when I visit. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an awesome dental office!

  I've had 4 appts total, 2 fillings, 2 cleanings. The most recent filling I had done was rushed and unsatisfactory. The occlusion did not feel right, so extra time was spent on fixing it. Then the dentist was interrupted about the next patient was here, so it was just a mad rush in the end to fix it. Looks like the hygienist had another appt so she left and just the dentist was left alone to fix the filling. I will not be coming back and will be booking an appt elsewhere to fix the occlusion.
