  I was verbally harassed online by one of your staff members on one of my YouTube videos. I had come to the lougheed location to quickly get my roots touched up, as I didn't have time to do it myself. One of your staff members left the most VILE comments, and indicated she had be working when I came in that day - she continued to tell me all kinds of disgusting comments about my hair and so forth. I was so completely creeped out. I will never ever go back to this location. Keep your staff in check.

  Instead, she did an inverted triangle ^ with the point reaching up to my neck and fried the hair. It fell out in clumps. She tried to claim that I must have had some dye done previous

  The salon was hardly willing to give me a refund let alone any compensation(I wanted some damage repair products. They gave me a tiny bottle of some conditioner that did nothing) and they refused to pay another salon to fix it but I was no longer comfortable and willing to allow them to try and fix it at Chatters. In hind sight it is obvious the stylist was incompetent because she did not do a strand test, she cut the hair after the dye, she over processed natural blond hair, the list goes on and on. But because this was my first time ever getting dye put in my hair I did not know until it was too late. Not only would I not recommend Chatters but I would implore you to go virtually anywhere else. This was by far, hands down my worst experience with a hair salon in my entire life.

  I had my waist length, 100% untreated natural blond hair destroyed by a stylist at this salon. I had asked for just the ends dyed bright red. I asked for 1 to 2".so that I could have the color easily trimmed off later.

  Getting your hair coloured can be a lengthy and an expensive process. It is a commitment. We all want that pinterest hair. I researched what goes into hair colouring before I made an appointment. I knew I wouldn't walk out with rainbow hair after the first appointment (and with natural black hair to start with). I knew I was in the right hands as soon as I saw my stylist's colourful hair. Stephanie gave me her expert advice and we talked through it before we started. I was honest and told her I had a box dye in my hair. It was a bit of a factor when we started the bleaching but we worked with it. After my second appointment I got my coloured ombre hair. Stephanie is an up-beat- fun talking person but also very professional. She knows her stuff. I will continue to get my hair coloured by her at the Chatters Burnaby Lougheed location.

  Overpriced...went for lowlights and charged for hair cut too...had just had my hair cut 3 weeks before and had some "bits" tidied up....Wont be going back. Helen does a great job though so too bad :(

  Sophia intuitively went above my expectations and colored my hair a vibrant glossy black, one that matched me better than the one I initially picked out. She also gave me a "less is more" type of haircut that was subtle but gave me volume and bounce in all of the right places. These people know what they are doing and I will go back again.
